BORROWING
- Most books, magazines, and audiotapes may be
borrowed for
two weeks,
with two renewals
- Exception - NEW MATERIALS (those we have owned
for less
than three
months) may be borrowed for two weeks, but MAY NOT be
renewed. In most cases, there is a list of people waiting for
these books.
- VIDEOS - MOST videos and DVD's may be borrowed
for one week
(Those with
a red star, or NW on the spine.) Videos and DVD's may NOT be
renewed.
- Videos with yellow on the spine belong to the
Videonet
Club, and
require a membership form and $10.00 a year (no cash), for insurance
purposes. There are applications at the desk for this membership. These
videos must be returned the next day the library is
opened.
FINES
- Most books, magazines, and audiotapes carry a
fine of $.10
per day, per
item if returned after due date.
- Videos carry a fine of $1.00 per day, per item
if returned
after due
date.
RENEWING
- Materials eligible for renewing may be done on
line at
www.midyork.org,
by calling the library, or putting items in our drop box.
LOST
BOOKS
- If materials are lost, the cost of the
material must be paid
PUBLIC
ACCESS COMPUTERS
- There
is a posted internet use policy in the library.
- There
is a separate wireless internet policy
- There
is also a posted wireless policy.
- We
only have two computers, so each person may stay on the
computer for
30 minutes. If there are problems with the computer, please report it
to the Director, or the person at the circulation desk.
PRINTER
USE
- Price per copy is $.20. If printing is
for
educational purposes (required research, homework) please see the
director.
PHOTOCOPIER
- Senior citizens pay $.10 per copy; all others
pay $.15.
